WABEVCO Industries Limited is a diversified industrial group anchored by prime Lagos real estate, with a bold Vision 2030 to build a ₦100 billion industrial and distribution conglomerate.
WABEVCO Industries Limited traces its roots to Nigeria's post-independence industrialisation era. Dr Samuel Ekundayo Olaoye — a distinguished technocrat and former Chairman of the Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry (NBCI) — acquired West African Distillers Limited through the Federal Government's privatisation programme.
Under Dr. Olaoye's stewardship, West African Distillers built one of Nigeria's most distinguished spirits portfolios. The company served as a key local partner for Martell and Courvoisier — two of the world's most prestigious Cognac houses, whose global portfolio was managed at the time by Allied Domecq. It also distributed Bols — founded in 1575, the oldest distillery brand in the world and internationally renowned for its Dutch Genever gin and extensive range of premium liqueurs. Alongside these global names, the company produced its own Schnapps, Venus Wine, and Dry Gin for the Nigerian market.
This was not a small local operation — it was a company trusted by the world's leading spirits houses to represent their brands in the Nigerian market. After several successful years of production and distribution, the company was rebranded as WABEVCO Industries Limited, and subsequently made a strategic pivot to industrial real estate, leveraging its prime Lagos landholding to generate stable income across two decades.
Today, under Vision 2030, WABEVCO is transforming into a ₦100 billion industrial and distribution conglomerate — across four mutually reinforcing divisions built on the group's irreplaceable Lagos asset base.
WABEVCO's physical asset base spans three strategically located industrial properties across Lagos — giving the group a platform for warehousing, logistics, distribution, and manufacturing that few competitors can replicate.
The group's flagship asset — a 1.2-hectare freehold industrial estate at the heart of Ogba's commercial corridor. With main-road frontage and a Certificate of Occupancy held by WABEVCO Industries Limited, the estate hosts a diverse portfolio of long-term tenants across energy, technology, aluminium manufacturing, and distribution. A cornerstone asset at the centre of the group's Vision 2030 transformation.
12,000 m² — Freehold C of OA 1,000 square metre industrial warehouse in the Agbara industrial estate — one of the largest and most active industrial zones in South-West Nigeria. Strategically positioned to serve as a logistics and distribution hub for WABEVCO's growing operations, with direct access to major arterial routes connecting Lagos and Ogun State.
1,000 m² — WarehouseA 1,200 square metre warehouse facility in the Oregun industrial area, Ikeja — adjacent to Lagos's primary commercial and aviation hub. Oregun hosts some of Nigeria's most significant FMCG, technology, and manufacturing companies, making this a premium-location asset that supports WABEVCO's logistics and warehousing ambitions.
1,200 m² — WarehouseWABEVCO operates through four mutually reinforcing divisions — each designed to leverage the group's physical assets, established tenant relationships, and operational infrastructure. Together they form a compounding platform with a clear path to ₦100 billion valuation by 2030.
The anchor division and cash engine of the group. Three strategically located Lagos and South-West Nigeria industrial properties provide the physical infrastructure that supports all group operations. Under an active transformation programme, the division is evolving from a traditional landlord model into a full-service industrial platform — delivering energy, logistics, and professional services to its tenant community.
Active OperationsA return to WABEVCO's manufacturing heritage — this time in Nigeria's fast-growing premium beverages sector. WABEVCO Beverages will produce high-quality bottled water and complementary beverages from a dedicated production facility, leveraging the group's estate infrastructure and distribution network. The division is positioned to serve Lagos's hospitality, retail, and institutional sectors at scale.
In DevelopmentAn asset-backed, technology-enabled logistics and distribution business built to serve Nigeria's growing FMCG, e-commerce, and industrial sectors. Launching with guaranteed internal anchor clients, the division eliminates the cold-start problem and builds rapidly toward a full-service third-party logistics operation. Target: 50-vehicle fleet and ₦5 billion in revenue by 2030.
In DevelopmentA two-way international trading corridor connecting China, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom. WABEVCO Trading imports high-demand solar energy products from China into Nigeria's rapidly expanding off-grid energy market, while building a Nigeria-to-UK export corridor for premium Nigerian food products. The division leverages Nigeria's 99% duty-free access to the UK market and creates a natural foreign exchange hedge for the group.
In DevelopmentWABEVCO is wholly family-owned, ensuring long-term capital discipline, generational commitment, and complete alignment of interest between ownership and management.
